ABC radio news: Environment groups call for an inquiry into Rio Tinto's Ranger mine

Environmental groups are calling for an independent inquiry into Energy Resources of Australia's Ranger Uranium Mine which lies within Kakadu National Park. The Northern Territory Government last week launched an investigation into a breach of mine procedures involving a car leaving a restricted radiation area of the mine without the proper clearance. There's a further meeting about the incident today, involving mine operators, government departments, and the land's traditional owners.
